Mr. Sanjay Kothari, Vice- Chairman, KGK Group

Mr. Sanjay Kothari is one of the three sons of Mr. Navrattan Kothari and is based in Hongkong and ensures the presence of the group worldwide. He entered the group as the family’s fourth generation and added his dynamic and passionate vision to the group. As the Vice-Chairman of the group, he has been the main force behind the group’s achievements. Under his able guidance, the group has taken the wiser leap from mining to manufacturing and from marketing to distribution. With his constant belief, he took a leap of faith he entered into different domains. Which are the retail domain of gemstones, diamonds, and jewellery.

He has been in the industry for almost 30 years. That has been a driving force of the group and its success worldwide. Furthermore he entered the market by establishing a diamond manufacturing unit in Mumbai. Since then there has been no looking back. He has developed many verticals including jewellery retailing, jewellery and diamond manufacturing, real estate, etc.

Under his astute vision, the group’s IT and corporate identity saw a distinguished growth. That helped create a global identity for the group.

Mr. Sandeep Kothari, Managing Director – KGK Group

After joining the group in 1990, Mr. Sandeep Kothari became involved in diamond procurement and processing and was responsible for growing the business considerably worldwide. Now based in Antwerp, the world’s largest diamond centre. He has been instrumental in expanding our polished diamonds sales in Europe. His many successful initiatives include developing trusted supplier relationships with such companies as De Beers and Alrosa.
